I felt at home right away when I arrived around 10 pm, thanks in part to a late coffee. The staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent. They even made vegan food especially for me, and the quality was great. The room was great, with a huge bathroom and walk-in shower, and both were spotless. Nice touches included a neatly arranged kettle with instant coffee and/or tea, and the bathroom warmed up quickly before my shower. My husband and I plan to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary there. I'm already looking forward to going back!

The rooms are large and very clean, and the food and service were excellent. The tablecloths were always clean and white. A week ago, my parents attended the health hotel's "One-Week Retreat for Dementia Patients and Their Caregivers." My mother cares for my father and was very impressed with the care for the dementia patients and the activities for their families. There were excursions, sauna visits, Kneipp treatments, and lectures. The hotel may be showing its age, but the organization and the way they look after and interact with patients and families are perfect. If my father takes part, they'll come again.

The apartment was spacious and clean, though, as noted in the description, I couldn't reach the balcony in my wheelchair. This was my first vacation in a wheelchair, and everything else went well. The nursing services, assistive devices, and physiotherapy were excellent. The park is somewhat neglected, although it has benches to sit on. The hotel café is only open Friday through Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Unfortunately, there’s no beer garden in Bad Peterstal.

The staff were excellent and the room was clean, and we'd gladly come back if the assistive devices were better. The standing aid was too small and had a faulty battery. They charged extra for the footplate with wooden wedges, which wasn't worth it. The medical supply store was in an unacceptable state. The toilet chair was missing a corner and could cause an injury. There was no one on site to handle our complaints, and when we left, there was no check-out area or contact person.
