Ferienwohnung Lioba Huber

Definitely worth a visit, we had a good experience 😊

Melanie and Hans-Peter were always thoughtful about our comfort and gave us excellent suggestions for biking (in Saßbachwalde) and hiking, which you can do just about everywhere. Strasbourg is nearby too, and there are several mountain huts where you can stop for a refreshment. It’s a beautiful area to stay in. We were very comfortable in the Bergblick apartment. It’s spacious, cozy, and extremely well-equipped, with proper furniture and dishes rather than old children’s things or discarded crockery. The view from the bedroom window across the wooded hillside is absolutely lovely.

The balcony was one of our favorite spots, and we had breakfast there almost every morning. The location is wonderfully tucked away and quiet, a great fit if you want to relax away from the bustle. A stream runs right beside the house, and its sound was lovely at night as we fell asleep and again in the morning as we woke. We spent 8 days in the Talblick holiday apartment and had a wonderful vacation. It was clean and tidy, tastefully and comfortably furnished, and had everything we needed. We were welcomed warmly and could always have a friendly chat with the owners. We were completely satisfied and felt very much at home. I can recommend the Huber-Götz family and their apartment without hesitation. We’ll definitely be back.

With two small children, unpacking took a bit of effort since everything had to be carried a long way from the car and up three flights of stairs. It’s something to bear in mind, but it’s no reason to take off a point. Otherwise, we felt completely at home. We’ve rarely found such good value for money in a vacation rental. The apartment is unusually well-equipped, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions. Thank you to our lovely hosts! 😊
