There are lovely walks around Bad Peterstal, though carrying a child on your back makes them a challenge. Hoferpeterhof has a wonderful valley view and is great for families with small children. There’s a playground, a little river for playing, and small animals to cuddle. Once or twice a week, kids can ride ponies or take a tractor ride. The apartments are spacious and have large balconies. The bathroom in ours was a bit tired and too small for four people, but that was a minor issue. I’d consider coming back if we visit the area again.

We had a really good time in this holiday apartment. The hosts are caring and very accommodating, and having a public pool nearby was a bonus. The internet was the only letdown, since it was slow.

The setting is beautiful, with lots of well-kept hiking trails that work well for children. Peter also shared some great local tips. At Hoferpeterhof, Peter and Anette were cheerful, incredibly friendly hosts who welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away. The kids loved the pony rides most, but they could also run and play freely and visit and pet the rabbits, goats, chickens, and ponies whenever they liked. There’s a big playground, games room, foosball, and ping-pong too. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend it. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely come back!
