Fewo Villa Innocentia

We found the house and can confirm it exists, but the setting wasn't particularly appealing, with the thermal baths' parking lot surrounding it in Bad Reichenhall. The price seemed reasonable, although paying a cash deposit for the new appliances on arrival struck us as unusual. The whole process felt unwelcoming. The booking went smoothly at first through the website. After we promptly transferred two down payments totaling 20% of the rent to the bank account provided, the landlord said several days and weeks later that she hadn't received them. The booking terms then unexpectedly changed to 100% prepayment. Our questions were brushed off, and some of the communication was rude and arrogant, with lectures about payment methods such as Visa and PayPal. We were left paying substantial chargeback fees and bank confirmation costs. There are many websites and companies in Germany and Austria, along with various email addresses and contact numbers, which made the provider seem vague and opaque. The legal notice lacked a VAT identification number, deadlines were changed arbitrarily, and emails contained spelling errors. Based on our negative experience, we advise against booking and suggest looking at other options.
