What a beautiful spot, with views across the whole village and the mountains. You can walk or bike to the forest and Thumsee, and Bad Reichenhall is five minutes away by car. I can’t imagine a more beautiful place on earth.

We booked a room by phone today, but got an email five hours later saying the room we’d reserved wasn’t available after all. They said they hadn’t taken it off Booking.com in time.

Our family feels really comfortable here, and for the price it’s well worth five stars. The house has a cozy Bavarian style and is in a fantastic spot. It’s at the end of a cul-de-sac, so hardly any cars come by, which makes it a nice place to stay with dogs and children. There’s a stunning view of Predigtstuhl and the surrounding peaks. If you’re fit enough to walk or have a bike, you can get to beautiful Thumsee in just a few minutes without a car.

We had everything we needed for our 10 days here, and the apartment was just right for relaxing. It’s a great location for dog owners, with the forest next door making it easy to take a short walk into the village. Town is about a 7-minute drive away, and the lake takes around 3 minutes. We’d definitely recommend it. A few pictures would be nice 😃 Best regards.
