Garni Rupertuspark

We were made to feel completely at home by Gabi and Ivan. The hotel is clean, has a cozy Bavarian style, and is in a really convenient spot. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and our room felt cozy too.

Horrible experience. I arrived with a German couple, and since my friend handled the registration, the owner, a woman, never spoke to me or my wife. We all followed her up two flights of stairs. She opened our room door, but we hadn't gone inside. As my friends entered theirs, we set our luggage down in our room. I pulled the door shut to go downstairs and meet them for dinner, then realized it had locked and I had no key. When I went to ask for it, she insulted me, called me an idiot, and kept insulting me as we went back upstairs so she could open the door. She pointed at the table and muttered in German that any moron should know the key would be there. I picked up my bags and went back to my car, telling my German friends I wouldn't pay to be insulted. I hadn't spoken with this old hag before that, and I didn't answer her at all. I can't recommend the place because the owner showed no manners and made no effort to apologize or ask why I was leaving.

We loved the cozy room and really enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful and made us feel at home, with great service and a great breakfast.

The kind, sweet staff made our stay even nicer. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting, the nature and the view, and the rooms were lovely.
