I found this alpine lodge by chance and feel lucky I did. The restaurant is very good, and the balconies have gorgeous views. It’s close to trails around Hochstaufen, as well as Bad Reichenhall and Salzburg. For the quality of the experience, the prices are reasonable. I’ll be back.

The hotel’s hallways made for a really nice experience, and I’m curious how beautiful the place must be at Christmas. The rooms were very clean, with a lovely view from the windows. Food at the restaurant is prepared efficiently, and the chef can make something special to suit your needs. It’s a really nice hotel.

My wife’s family has been coming here for years, and the place keeps delivering. It’s a great spot to unwind and get a feel for old-world Germany. The owner and chef is top notch, the atmosphere is great, and the service is always A++. We’ll be back again next year.

It’s a nice place with great views, but breakfast starts too late for people who need to travel. We’d arranged the night before to have coffee and tea before leaving, then were told to go back to our room and have it there. The old gentleman was quite rude, especially after we’d spent over 1200 at his hotel. When we asked for milk, he ignored us.

The hosts are so welcoming, and the views are lovely. There are walking paths nearby, too. A great place to stay, with delicious food!
