I slept incredibly well in the soft, comfortable bed, and the guesthouse was very quiet at night. Take a stroll on the grassy slopes for stargazing. My attic room was rustic, lovely, and cozy, with good Wi-Fi. All the rooms have amazing views, and a balcony would be lovely for seeing the clear, starry sky at night. This charming, quaint guesthouse is run by an energetic German lady who makes sure you get a taste of German hospitality. It’s at the foothills of the Black forest, with a short walk across the road and into the forest. There are three or four levels, and each guest gets a key to the main door and to their room. My room had hot water, clean showers, and towels. The nightly cost was around 60 €. The owner makes a lovely breakfast with orange juice, bread, freshly baked apple pie, boiled eggs, butter, and jam. There’s a choice of tea and coffee.
