Precise Resort Bad Saarow am Scharmützelsee

I didn’t expect much from the service in Brandenburg, but this was the worst experience I’ve had. It’s an expensive place, and friendly staff are the least you should be able to expect. As a foreigner who isn’t fluent in German, should I be sorry I booked here? I’ve never been treated this way. And just so you know, one bottle of water costs 9€, so sparkling water fans should bring their own.

The room was clean, so housekeeping deserves credit, and the golf course is well maintained. The rest of the experience had plenty of problems. There wasn’t enough hot water for a proper shower, the lobby and parts of the room looked dated, and the Wi-Fi was broken with poor coverage in the room and around the resort. The place seemed understaffed, and getting help was nearly impossible. The pool was loud with kids, and there weren’t enough chairs in the quiet room, where you’d want to escape from them. I’m not coming back and wouldn’t recommend trying it.

The Friday and Saturday masterclass with Axel Schulz for teens and adults was a real highlight, such a unique and memorable experience. The grounds are beautiful and spacious, with a pier, beach, golf club, tennis courts, and a pool area we really enjoyed. We chose the breakfast and dinner package, and every meal was tasty and varied, with fish, meat, and vegetarian choices each time. The staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help with requests. The spa was well maintained and had fresh water available, and we appreciated the well-equipped fitness studio. There was also a daily activity schedule with yoga, Pilates, aqua aerobics, and more. A great choice for a relaxing holiday with plenty to do, not far from Berlin.

We spent a wonderful time at Precise Resort Bad Saarow, where every day brought something different. Between relaxing and staying active, there was a great mix of things to do. We tried stand-up paddleboarding on the lake, swimming, tennis, and pilates. Golf surrounded by lovely nature was a highlight, as was dinner at the Harnour. On the weekends, they also have boxing classes, which added a fun twist. We left feeling rested and energized, and would love to return soon.
