The little garden and terrace were useful even in winter, when we made a snowman with the kids. The small carport was also handy with children and snow. We stayed for seven days with six adults, three children including a baby, and a small dog. The apartment was spacious, clean, and charmingly furnished. It's in a great spot for families, with the Bad Sachsa swimming pool, a bowling alley, and a games center directly opposite. Ms. Liebau welcomed us warmly and went through everything in detail. The rooms were all prepared nicely, each had a TV, and the kitchen was well equipped for our larger group. Before arriving, we found it easy to contact the landlord, and our requests were accommodated. A wonderful place for families. We'd book again in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend it.

The location fit our itinerary perfectly, but the apartment was in a terrible state of cleanliness. The bathrooms were dirty, there was rubbish on the windowsill behind the curtain, and the carpets hadn't been vacuumed. The tablecloth was soiled, cobwebs were everywhere, and the garden furniture was broken. You just can't hand over accommodation like that.

Bad Sachsa has plenty of forest, so we spend a lot of time hiking, and we come back every year. The renovated apartment is well located and fully equipped. The owner is super friendly.

We even had to do a quick clean of the kitchen when we arrived, and it was still filthy and neglected. The stove worked only now and then, and there were cobwebs all over. Furniture was neglected, walls had stains, and several things were broken, including a chair, the stove, a shelf, and a badminton racket. We came for a short trip and were incredibly disappointed. This was nothing like a vacation should feel. You'll also need to bring your own toilet paper.
