Pension Volkert

A charming guesthouse in a very scenic area, with plenty of lovely hiking trails and sights within 50 km. The park is only 2 minutes away, and it’s a 15-20 minute walk to the supermarket. My room was clean and perfectly adequate for one person. Breakfast was good, the owners were friendly, and the location was excellent.

What stayed with me most were Mr. and Mrs. Volkert's kindness and all the helpful little gestures. The staff kept checking that I was comfortable, gave me extra towels for the sauna, and let me take a sandwich for the trip home on my last day. They even offered to drive me to the train station. The conversations and breakfasts were lovely, and you can tell the focus here is on guests feeling at home, not on profit. I’ll treasure the stay and will definitely return. Thank you so much! Communication before I arrived was excellent and easy. I was welcomed warmly and felt at home straight away. The room was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. The guesthouse sits on a quiet one-way street, so it was very peaceful, and the delicious breakfast each morning made my stay even better. Anyone looking for a vacation will find it right here at Pension Volkert. Such warmth and helpfulness are rare.

Our hosts were warm and accommodating, always smiling and ready for a laugh. They were happy to suggest things to do, and breakfast was plentiful. We felt very comfortable.

Breakfast was ready right on time, made with care, and they even accommodated our extra requests. The owners were so warm and welcoming, doing whatever they could for us. The guesthouse was spotless and lovingly furnished, with plenty of parking, and we felt comfortable straight away. The bathroom door kept swinging open and the bed creaked a bit, but I’m sure those things can be fixed quickly. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the center. Thanks so much, and see you soon. We’d happily recommend the place.
