Ferienhaus Elbufer 83

We felt very much at home in the "Falkenstein" apartment at the Elbufer 83 holiday home. We spent a week there in mid-June, and everything was clean and well maintained, with beautifully coordinated furnishings that made the place feel cozy. The apartment had everything we needed, and the view over the Elbe was magnificent. We could walk to many places nearby and leave the car in the private parking spot. We also enjoyed relaxing in the garden. We highly recommend it!

A spacious, lovely holiday apartment with very good equipment. The hiking trailhead, a bus stop, and the ferry landing are all nearby. You can walk to the center of Bad Schandau in no more than 30 minutes.

Watching the Elbe from the living room and garden was one of the best parts of our four wonderful days in April 2024 at the Elbufer 83 holiday home, in the "Falkenstein" apartment. The location was great, and although the house is close to the center of Bad Schandau, it still felt peaceful. The weather was fantastic too. The apartment was tidy, welcoming, and lovingly decorated. It had everything we could have wanted, including a fully equipped kitchen with Alexa, a comfortable armchair, cozy bedrooms, and a bathroom with a rain shower. Parking right outside and on the property made access easy, especially when heading to our hikes. There are buses too. Saxon Switzerland has an impressive landscape that keeps changing and has so much variety. We appreciate Bad Schandau and many nearby towns just as much. It's always worth visiting, and we'll definitely be back for a third time. We highly recommend Elbufer 83. We had a fantastic view of the Elbe and Lilienstein as soon as we woke up. The apartment is beautifully and very modernly furnished, while still keeping the character of the old house. Communication with the landlord was excellent. A trail starts just 100 meters down the road and leads straight into the forest, with direct access to the national park. One drawback is that there's no washing machine. Hikers are bound to have plenty of dirty laundry, so be sure to bring extra clothes. Otherwise, it was perfect. We still have more to see and will definitely return.
