It’s a family-run place in a quiet spot, around five minutes on foot from Bad Schwartau train station. The rooms are plain but clean and have been renovated recently, with a TV, hairdryer, fresh towels, kettle and refrigerator. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Just don’t expect a five-star hotel.

There’s plenty of parking right outside on the street, and dogs are welcome. The guesthouse sits by the forest in a very quiet location, about five minutes from the train station and ten from the market square and town centre. A lovely family-run place and excellent value for money.

Room 5 was spacious and decorated with care to suit the beautiful old house, on a lovely villa-lined street. We felt at home here. The bed was divine, and we slept so peacefully. There’s a kettle with tea and coffee, plus a refrigerator in the room. I’d only change the shower heads, then it would be perfect. We were welcomed warmly, and Bad Schwartau town centre is an easy walk away. The station is less than five minutes away, so the location is fantastic. We’d love to return! ❤️

We’ve been coming back for years. It’s a very good family-run guesthouse for a short stay, with comfortable rooms and impeccable cleanliness and service. You can prepare your own dinner, and there’s a refrigerator for storing food. In good weather, the huge balcony is a nice place to enjoy the evening overlooking a tree-lined avenue. Breakfast is good and adequate, though it isn’t a buffet.
