The house was clean and tidy, with charming furnishings and everything we needed. The owners were friendly and the whole stay was straightforward. One small hassle: there are only three places at the dining table, which is awkward for four, and the dining area doesn't work well for little kids up to around six because it uses highchairs. Still, I'd absolutely recommend the house.

We've stayed in this lovely house twice now, and we're already thinking of coming back. Our children feel completely at home there, and we've fallen for the place too. The owners are so friendly, reply quickly to emails, and sort out questions or concerns without fuss. Picking up the key from the safe is easy. The house is cozy and welcoming, with a great atmosphere. It's clean and tidy, and the kitchen has everything you need. The beds are really comfortable and not worn out, there's air conditioning for summer, and the terrace is a nice spot to relax. You can walk to the old town in just a few minutes, and its narrow streets are lovely for a stroll. Hiking trails and castle ruins are a short drive away, and there's a bakery and butcher nearby, handy for breakfast. We love this little house. Definitely worth a visit!

We felt right at home in this charming house and would love to stay again. The furnishings are great, and the kitchen is equipped with just about everything. It's a remarkable place for a relaxing break in beautiful Allendorf.

The landlords were wonderful and really nice. We felt comfortable in the house and would gladly come back.
