Ferienwohnung Heger

I had everything I needed in the apartment, even a small freezer compartment in the fridge. The friendly, helpful owners always had current activity suggestions and news from the Franconian Forest. The thermal baths and spa park are an easy walk away. The apartment was cozy and clean, with a balcony looking out onto greenery, and it's in a quiet spot. I'd gladly return.

The Heger family were welcoming, very friendly, and helpful. I stayed in apartment 1 for a week, then spent two more weeks in the equally cozy apartment 2. Both were comfortably furnished and had everything I needed, including lovely balconies. I especially enjoyed the peaceful but convenient location near the thermal baths, with its wonderful view of the old, weather-beaten spruce. It was easy to set off on hikes or take a short walk around Seifenteich pond. I'll definitely stay here again on my next getaway to Bad Steben.

The location is excellent for a quick walk into nature or over to the thermal baths. I stayed three nights in early December. The living and sleeping area was cozy, everything was clean, and the Christmas decorations were lovely. The owners were friendly and helpful. There was a nice view from the windows and balcony, and I even spotted deer! The shower and toilet area and the kitchen are a little dated, but clean and functional.

Mrs. Heger was always available to answer questions and was incredibly helpful, sharing her extensive knowledge of Bad Steben and the surrounding area. Apartment 2 suited our New Year holiday perfectly. It's bright and spotless, in a quiet but central spot, with plenty of storage and a kitchen stocked with the cooking utensils and appliances we needed. We wholeheartedly recommend it. A.M.
