The garden was a lovely place to sit in peace, with plenty of privacy, a pond, little waterfall, goldfish, and a swimming pool. There was also a garden set for four and a swing bench. Inside, the house was neat and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious bedroom and comfortable beds, and a large shower with plenty of towels and storage. We slept with the window open without trouble thanks to the mosquito net. The hosts welcomed us warmly, took time to explain things, share tips, and chat, while leaving us our space and being available for questions. The supermarket is 2 km away, about a five-minute drive. You can park at the bottom or top of the road near the house. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it for a few days or a longer holiday. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s often booked up, unfortunately. The location is great and makes a good base for a holiday in the Harz Mountains.
