Birdsong is what you hear here, not traffic, thanks to the quiet setting. The older holiday homes are detached, so you don't hear other guests, while the newer, tastefully furnished semi-detached ones can let through some neighbor noise, like toddlers. Harzer Feriengarten is a lovely, well-kept family-run park, small and easy to get around, with plenty of space between the homes. Hiking trails begin just behind the spa campsite parking lot, and Hexentanzplatz in Thale, the Rappbode Reservoir, Rübeland, and Quedlinburg are all a short drive away. A really beautiful place to stay, highly recommended.

We felt so comfortable here that we booked again for this year. Last year my colleague and I brought seven people we care for, and getting around with walking aids and wheelchairs worked well. The public transport links are excellent. The grounds are in a lovely setting and so lovingly maintained, which you don't often find.

House 1 felt like home, and our child even had a room of their own. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we were very happy with the bathroom and bedroom too. The whole complex is beautiful and far from the usual everyday rush, with lots of room to relax. In the evenings, the fireplace crackling was magical. Our Harz holiday will stay with us as a lovely memory. We were glad we came and definitely recommend the Harz Holiday Garden.
