Grüner Baum

We booked Grüner Baum at the last minute while on the road for a work trip, and the welcome was professional, with all the information we needed. The hotel is kept to a high standard for its price range, and the attention to detail shows. The restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday, its regular rest days, but the wonderful smells around the hotel made us keen to eat there next time. Breakfast was very fresh and great. Our room was comfortable, and the ceiling fan helped a lot. Check-out wasn’t especially early either, so it turned out to be a great choice.

Frau Anna Nolte made lunch at the restaurant feel especially welcoming. She was very kind and helped me in English, which I appreciated since I’m still not confident in my German. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was really comfortable. The room was clean and neat, though standard, and the location in the innerstadt is perfect. I’d recommend the place and wish Frau Anna Nolte success in life.

A handy spot right in the town centre, with a restaurant serving local dishes and beers. Breakfast was excellent. The Wi-Fi was a problem.

We come here fairly often, and the Swabian dishes with an elegant touch are excellent, as are the service and food. They try to handle unusual requests too. They couldn’t make Bacardi and Coke, but the Gin &Tonic they had hit the spot. In Bad Waldsee, I’d put the restaurant second only to Scala. It’s worth visiting if you’re not on a budget, and I’d choose it for a special occasion.
