Der Hochsitz

We spent five lovely, relaxing days here, and the pictures really do match the place. The magnificent view over Lake Tegernsee is hard to beat, and the setting is beautiful. Bad Wiessee is easy to reach on foot, with forest walks and hikes nearby. Other towns around the lake are quick to get to by car or boat, and the Austrian border is about 35 minutes away, so Lake Achensee and Innsbruck are within reach too. The apartment, "Hochsitz," has lots of space, comfortable beds, roomy bathrooms, and several places to sit, including outside. It’s cozy and very well equipped, with a small kitchenette that has what you need. We couldn’t stop raving about it 🤩🤩🤩. We’ll definitely return. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts!

We were welcomed warmly, with a little treat waiting on the table, and getting the key from the lockbox was very easy. The host was reachable by phone for any questions. Set on a hillside above Lake Tegernsee, the hunting lodge has an incredible view, especially from the different balconies. The sauna on the upper balcony was another favorite. The apartment is stylish and fully equipped, though you’ll need to arrange your own meals. We’d love to come back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We were thrilled with this dog-friendly holiday apartment and would happily return. It’s beautifully furnished and fully equipped, with a fantastic view of Lake Tegernsee, especially from the apartment’s sauna.
