The owners were so kind and helpful, and the balcony made the stay even nicer. Our apartment was spacious and spotless, everything felt just right. We’re already looking forward to coming back. ❤❤

We found the guesthouse clean and comfortable, and the hosts and staff were friendly and helpful. When something happened during our stay, they paid close attention and gave us real support.

The apartment itself was OK, but the way we were treated on arrival was awful. After an eight-hour drive, we got there at 7:30 pm, within the stated 2-10 pm check-in window, and were spoken to as if we were a nuisance. The host said, in a really unpleasant tone, “What do you want? I want to finish work.” Then came, “Why didn’t you call? A booking is a booking.” We stayed polite, but got more remarks that don’t belong here in return. Either they’re too rich or have too narrow a view of things. I’ve never had an experience like this in more than 40 years of staying in hotels, including over 800 nights away. People in town had nothing good to say either, mentioning the grandfather’s reputation for being difficult and negative. Never again. Speechless.

The house itself was decent, but the welcome was a letdown. The room details on the third-party booking site were very poor. Maybe the owners’ own site is better, but we didn’t know about it when we booked. The host whispered that he “first had to sort things out.” It would make sense to check how the third-party listings describe the place. We would have preferred to leave right away, and it felt like they didn’t need customers. Also, the shower pressure on the second floor could definitely be better.
