We had a great view from our room, and the hotel itself was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was amazing, with options tailored to what you like. The staff were well trained and super friendly, the friendliest people I met during my time in Germany. We stayed here as a family for a couple of days. The Wi-Fi reached everywhere, with a strong connection and fast internet. There’s also an adorable kitten and puppy who live here, both very friendly. Free parking is available on request if there’s a space.

Breakfast was a highlight. It’s served in a nicely decorated basement, and the buffet was delicious and very good. The service was friendly too. The rooms were clean, though a few areas, including the shower, felt a little dated. This is a lovely, small guesthouse in a central but quiet spot. Bad Wiessee’s center is just a few minutes away, and Lake Tegernsee takes about 10 minutes to reach. I do think the prices are too high. Reception is only open for a few hours, and I didn’t like seeing personal belongings left on the desk, where anyone could look through things like addresses.

Room 13 had a balcony with a view of Lake Tegernsee, and the hotel's location and breakfast were good. Breakfast included pre-baked rolls along with a wide selection of other food. We had booked a comfort double room, but the room itself was disappointing. One side of the double bed was against the wall, so whoever slept there had to climb over the footboard to get in and out. The furniture looked like it was from the 70s, and the bathroom tiles in front of the shower were cracked and loose.

The room seemed newly renovated, and the beds were comfortable, with soft mattresses. The bathroom looked a little dated, but it and the rest of the hotel were spotless. It’s a super cozy place. Breakfast was fantastic, with proper scrambled eggs and great coffee, and they catered to every taste. The receptionist and kitchen staff were friendly and accommodating as well.

The room felt quite dated, and we didn’t think the price was entirely fair. Still, the service was very friendly, the location is great, and the lake is only a few minutes away on foot. Breakfast was plentiful and very good.
