The food was decent and the staff were nice, and the lake is a lovely feature. But my room was old, with no air conditioning, and the heat made it almost impossible to sleep. Some parts of the hotel still smell of cigarettes too. Maybe it was a four-star place 50 years ago. I’m not sure I’d return, especially in summer, since you’d be sweating all day.

The lake view was amazing, and the location is beautiful. The rooms are dated, but they felt much more real than the characterless new hotels. The staff were friendly across the board, especially at the catering service and arrival desk. One man from Tunisia in particular was especially cool.

The staff were the one bright spot, extremely friendly and pleasant to talk to. For a little over 200 a night, though, I got a “lake view” that looked out onto a building. The place was worn, and the sauna and pool were closed. It felt a bit like staying in a motel, and I thought it was overpriced for what they offer. Until the price comes down or the hotel is renovated, I don’t think it’s worth it.

350€ for two nights out of season, for a hotel that’s meant to be four-star? Just zero points. It feels like they forgot it’s 2021, not the 70s. The balcony was shared with two other rooms and faced the street. There were brown curtains and a carpet I was afraid to walk on without socks. The double bed had two separate mattresses, and the pillows, hairdryer, and toilet with limescale were all disappointing. The room wasn’t worth 50€ a night. Think twice before choosing this hotel.

Waking up every day to construction noise isn’t acceptable for a four-star wellness hotel. I’ve seen other reviews mention the burst water pipe as the excuse, but I don’t believe it can’t be fixed for weeks. That just doesn’t seem true.
