Hotel Holzhauer

Parking is available right at the guesthouse, and everything was very clean. The owners still look after their guests personally. It’s a cozy place run with a lot of care, and breakfast was delicious, with something for everyone.

The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful, and we had no complaints during our five-night stay. We especially liked being able to turn on subtitles on the TV, which is no longer possible in most hotels, even if you ask. Our room was large and faced the street, but the noise didn’t bother us. It had a lovely modern bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly adequate, with fresh eggs available on request. Fresh coffee and tea were available all day on the first floor, and the hotel’s ample free parking was very convenient.

The owner is incredibly kind and they do their best to meet every need. It’s a lovely family-run hotel, and I highly recommend it.

The owner is friendly and serves a delicious breakfast buffet. It’s a small, somewhat tucked-away hotel with parking 😉. The rooms are a bit dated, but the mattresses are decent and both the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Bad Waldungen is just under 20 km from the Edersee reservoir, in beautiful North Hessian countryside. I recommend the hotel.
