Getting into central Düsseldorf was easy, with a train ride taking less than 30 minutes, and the fares were very cheap. Neuss is across the river, so don’t let the city distinction put you off. The hotel is well connected to Düsseldorf, and I had a very good stay overall. Breakfast was tasty and generous, and the rooms were clean and modern. My one problem was room 221: the AC didn’t work, and I couldn’t use the window for ventilation because the street and railway were right outside. I’d still highly recommend the hotel.

Check-in was a mess. The booking gave us four different codes, but the system asked for a “Reservation number,” and none of them worked. It kept saying “reservation not found.” We spent about 20 minutes waiting in an empty lounge, calling for a receptionist and trying the different numbers at several terminals. When the receptionist finally came, she took my feedback personally and told me to send the company a critical bug report instead of passing it on to the developers. I shouldn’t have to do that. The software and booking process are obviously badly designed, with a broken data model. The 24 phone support was AI that repeated nonsense instead of helping. Support was awful, there’s no useful feedback system, and nobody seems likely to fix the booking problems. For this level of service, it should cost 20 euro, not 100.

The rooms were good and the breakfast was quality. Best of all, vogesenstrabe station on the U75 is close by, about 15 minutes from Dussuldorf HBF 👍🏽

A fresh, pleasant hotel that works well for a one-night stop. My room could have used a fridge, and the floor wasn’t very clean.

I had a lovely stay with no complaints. The staff were friendly, and public transport was easy to reach from this convenient location.
