Hotel Wildunger Hof

Nice service and good breakfast.

Whenever work brings me to the area, I’d happily stay here again. The rooms are tidy and spacious, and there’s a shared kitchen on every floor.

The bed was comfortable, but that was the one good thing about my night here. The hotel felt old and run-down, and €62 for a single room without breakfast is outrageous. The bathroom tap barely let any water through because the aerator was completely clogged with limescale. I had to unscrew it by hand just to get water. Never again.

The location is fairly central, and the bed was the only thing that was okay. The room was tiny, the furnishings dated, and the pillows were awful. The bathroom and shower were dirty, and the toilet brush was disgusting and should have been thrown out years ago. There was a 3cm gap under the door to the hallway, so we could hear everything out there. The remote only worked after several button presses. The grounds looked neglected and were practically unusable, and I wouldn’t recommend the balcony either. We didn’t tell the owner about any of the problems. Fortunately, we were there for just one night and left the next morning. I’ve traveled a lot, and this was the worst room I’ve ever had. I can’t comment on the service because I didn’t encounter any. Absolutely not recommended.
