The positives were free parking, with space for perhaps six cars, a central location, and a fridge for storing food since there’s no catering on site. The room was dark and depressing, tucked behind the dining area. I wondered if some rooms had been made out of the old kitchen block. Wi-Fi only worked on one of my three days, sadly. Google incorrectly lists breakfast as free, but what’s offered is complimentary tea and coffee with biscuits.

I only got to stay one night, unfortunately. The owner gave me such a warm welcome, and the room was attractive, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally clean. This is a small hotel in a lovely old building, run with real personal attention, and they’ve thought of everything. Fresh coffee is always available in the breakfast room, which is a nice touch. The small continental breakfast was just right for €3.50, and even came with lemon cake. I added fresh rolls from a bakery about three minutes away, and that made it perfect. Parking is free. Highly recommended!

We had a holiday apartment with a lovely, spacious bathroom and natural light, plus a small kitchen that was genuinely fully equipped. There were plenty of electrical outlets, which is unusual, and both Wi-Fi and LAN were available. Coffee, tea, and various cold drinks are provided free in the common room. The central location and parking right by the building were convenient. It’s a beautiful, well-kept old building with a successful blend of old and new, high-quality furnishings, and everything was very clean and cared for. My mattress was quite worn, though. Still, definitely five stars.
