The view is 10/10, and the food was absolutely amazing.

The Alps looked beautiful, with the whole mountain chain visible in the distance. Just a heads-up: the hotel is open, but the famous restaurant often closes for up to 3 days a week because of a long-term staff shortage. You can still take the bus there, free with your Kur karte/tourist papers, and set off on wonderful hikes.

It’s a convenient walk from Bad Wörishofen, and there’s also a bus connection. The setting is nice, with great local food and beers. If you’re lucky, you might catch a view of the Alps.

The view makes this a lovely place to eat, and the food is good too. Make sure to try the “Windbeutel,” a light cookie filled with cream.

The staff were friendly, and sitting in the sunshine outside with the mountains in the distance was lovely. The food, though, didn't feel worth what it cost.
