Morada Bad Wörishofen

The restaurant waitress was wonderful. She seemed to be handling the whole hotel at times, including reception, and still did her best to help everyone. She clearly cares about people. Vielen Dank 💕 The rooms are large for the price, and ours had a balcony. It's shared with the adjoining rooms, with no dividers, so keep the balcony door closed if you want privacy. Breakfast was included, though it was basic and some items looked quite old. Check-in was a mess. We waited an hour for the receptionist, even though we'd initially been told it would be only 15 minutes. We had an impatient toddler who badly needed a diaper change. When we phoned to ask about cancelling for free because we didn't want to keep waiting, she said, "I don't understand what the problem is. You have to wait until I'm there." She didn't apologize when she finally arrived, and later told us people who book last minute should be ready to wait. The hotel is badly understaffed. Some guests said their towels hadn't been changed for two days. There's just one high chair in the restaurant, reserved by one family for their whole stay, even when they're not eating there. This also didn't feel very family-friendly: most guests seemed to be older, retired people, and some didn't like having children around. At breakfast, an older woman told us to entertain our toddler because he was being too loud. Oh, thanks, we hadn't thought of that. What would we do without childless people who know so much about parenting 😂😂😂

I wanted to rate the hotel higher, but there were several hairs on one of the beds. All they offered was a towel so I could remove them myself...

Parking was a bit of a struggle at first, but the staff got it sorted for us. They were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and a good size. Breakfast was OK. Most of the clientele seemed to be seniors.

Stay away from this nightmare. They left us out in the street without the room we'd paid for. They took our money and threatened to call the police, which felt like blackmail. Avoid this hotel!
