At Gästehaus am Kamin, the staff are lovely and friendly. There’s so much to enjoy and do here, from the sauna and swimming to cycling, walking, horseback riding, kids’ activities, and meeting other people. I love it here, so if you want to enjoy yourself, I’d say come straight here.

We felt very comfortable during our three-day visit. The landlady is open and welcoming, and she readily accommodated individual requests. I’m lactose intolerant and still had plenty to choose from. There’s no breakfast buffet; instead, you’re given a table when you arrive, and each morning it’s set with fresh rolls, jam, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, fruit, vegetables, and coffee. The rooms are very clean, and I especially appreciated being able to darken the windows completely so the early morning light didn’t wake us. It’s a house filled with love.

A lovely, carefully decorated breakfast is served right at your table. This is a cozy, family-run guesthouse, ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Bad Zwischenahn, the spa town, is only a few kilometers away.

We had a fantastic stay here with a group of 14. The rooms were clean and lovely, and the breakfast was the kind many star-rated hotels could learn from.

The area is wonderfully quiet, and the rooms are very clean. It’s a cozy little guesthouse, lovingly furnished, with personal service.
