The beer is outstanding, and the prices are reasonable. It’s a perfect beer garden near Baden Baden, with very good food. My favourites are the Wurst salad and Rainbow trout, and the service is friendly and nice.

We asked for an alternative to the cucumber salad and they had no problem with that. The service was great, and the char we ordered was absolutely delicious. All the food was excellent, and the pancake soup is a must. What a great find in the Black Forest!

The warm chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream was the highlight. We also enjoyed the superb wine and beer, plus weinerschnitzel with spaetzel and pork with potato dumplings. It’s a cozy wood lodge with a gorgeous biergarten deep in the Black Forest.

We’re glad we stopped after driving past this beautiful Baden-Baden restaurant. There’s a local market right next to it, with plenty of unique finds. The restaurant has lots of outdoor seating for families and friends. We enjoyed the curry wurst and schnitzel, and the local beer didn’t disappoint.
