Being right in the heart of Baden-Baden made it easy to walk to the Kurpark, the spa, and the main shopping streets. The hotel itself has a timeless, elegant feel without being cold, and my spacious, beautifully designed room was very comfortable. I looked forward to returning to it after a day out. Staff were warm and attentive, happy to help with recommendations or little requests without making things feel stiff. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty to choose from in a relaxed setting. It was a luxurious stay that also felt personal, and I’d happily come back.

We dropped by the bar on New Year's Eve without a plan, and they managed to find us a table, which was so kind. The truffle mayo fries were perfect, and the cocktails were delicious, especially Schwarzwälder Kers. I really liked the atmosphere and the bartenders' kindness. It felt just right.

We booked room 328, a Deluxe Heritage room, for January 10-12, 2026, relying on the website's photos and stated size of 35 m². The room was clean and nicely decorated, but noticeably smaller than 35 m², with a layout unlike the one shown online. There was only one seat for two people, and the space felt much more cramped than we'd expected. The hotel later acknowledged in writing that the photos make the room look larger and said it would make sure the online descriptions match what's actually offered. Two weeks after that reply, the same information was still online, and we received no apology. It was low season and the hotel was very quiet, so there didn't seem to be a clear reason to give us a room below the apparent standard for this category. What you see advertised may not be what you get.
