We could roll the stroller straight into the hallway since the apartment is on the ground floor. The garden was lovely for unwinding, and our landlord greeted us so warmly. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily return.

We felt welcome right away thanks to the very friendly hosts. Ferienoase Balve matched its description, with a lovely, quiet setting and a patio looking onto a beautiful garden where it was easy to relax. The apartment was very clean too, which made it feel even more comfortable.

We left absolutely delighted. The hosts were warm and so hospitable, and their restaurant and café tips were excellent. If you're heading to Balve or the surrounding area, this apartment is a great choice. Simply fantastic, keep it up!

Dear Gelhaar family, thanks so much for the lovely stay at your holiday retreat over Christmas 2020. We enjoyed every bit of our time there and hope to return this year, if that's all right with you. Warm wishes from the Baltic Sea, Alexandra Reichling and Gerd Hermann

That little front garden was a real oasis, and the host was both friendly and helpful. The apartment was lovely and just right for our small family on a wonderful autumn holiday in the Sauerland. We'd be glad to stay there again the next time we're in the area.
