They upgraded me to a huge room with two luxurious bathrooms and a nicely equipped sitting area. The hotel is a gorgeous historic building, decorated tastefully for Christmas, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent value. It was my first stay, and I was really impressed. I'd happily recommend it in Bamberg and hope to return.

I was offered a much larger apartment around the corner when I checked in for my standard double room. It had more amenities and cost €34 less per night, and it was wonderful. Thanks especially to Florin, who helped me with everything. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building, just outside the old city, with easy access to the train station. I had an excellent stay.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. For such a good place, the value was incredible. It's close to the train station and just a short distance from Bamberg Old Town.

Room no. 20 was one of the finest we've had in all our travels through Europe. The staff were lovely and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was great. We stay at Hotel Messerschmitt almost every time we're passing through Bamberg, and we'll keep coming back.

Friendly staff, fair prices, and a great hotel. I'd definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Bamberg.
