After staying in hotels, having a whole apartment to ourselves with everything we needed was a welcome change. Check-in was easy, and the place was charming and quiet. It’s spacious and centrally located in Bamberg. We’d definitely recommend Bamberg and Am Rathaus.

I booked five nights last week but left after just one. It was impossible to sleep: the street is so narrow that it felt like cars were passing right through the bed, all night and very early in the morning. The vibrations were strong enough that a piece of wood fell from the ceiling while I was asleep. What a shock. Maybe the comments here describe how it used to be, but I wouldn’t trust them now. Avoid it, or your vacation could be ruined.

We stayed for one night at the end of July, on July 30th, 2021, and felt right at home. The owners were very kind, and the comfortable apartment had a kitchen with all the comforts. Five stars ✨

We’ve stayed here twice and will definitely return. It’s ideal for the Bamberg Christmas market, right in the city center, so we could stroll, shop or eat out on foot. The apartment is cozy, very clean and quiet, and communication with the landlord is excellent.
