The rooms are super nice, with the kind of build quality you’d expect in a luxurious private home. The staff were very friendly too.

We keep coming back and have stayed here many times. It’s a charming old country inn under ancient trees, and Bamberg is close by. If you’re up for a short hike, you can walk there in about half an hour. The food is tasty, traditional fare. We were absolutely delighted with the friendly, helpful owner and service.

We were greeted so warmly that we felt comfortable right away during our few days there over Easter this year. Our room was in the annex, had a nice setup, and came with the option to sit outside. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We ate at the inn connected to the accommodation every evening. The food was so good we didn’t feel like trying anywhere else. We’d gladly return if we spend a few days in Bamberg again.
