The host was amazing, and the apartment worked really well for four of us. The kitchenette had everything we needed. There’s a bakery just a short distance away, and the mall is within walking distance, with pretty much everything else nearby too.

The owner is friendly, and Zell village is within walking distance. The route down through the vineyards takes about 20 minutes, but it’s steep, sandy, and has some steps, so comfortable walking shoes help. A taxi back up from Zell costs €10/€12. The tidy upstairs apartment sleeps up to four. You get there by an outdoor staircase, so it isn’t suitable for guests with disabilities. Inside, there’s a roomy living room, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds that can be joined, plus a bathroom with a shower stall, toilet, and sink. Towels and bed linen are provided, and the kitchen is fully equipped. There’s a bakery about a two-minute walk away, with neighbors behind it.

There’s a bakery and a Globus shopping center close enough to walk to. The apartment itself is a nice little two-room place in Zell.
