ANAGRAM - Haus im Tal

The room worked really well, with a queen bed, a sofa that opened into a bed, and a curtain for privacy between them. There was also a pretty balcony overlooking the alley and surrounding buildings, and we saw snow on the rooftops one day. Inside, there was a nice-sized TV, a long desk, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was great, with a hair dryer, shower items, a towel warmer for the cold weather, and music to listen to. The heater worked great too. Staff were very friendly and helpful, welcomed us with coffees, and helped find parking for our rental car. The location is perfect, just steps from great restaurants and shopping stores. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s features and location are fantastic, but the staff and their service were the best part. Nothing was too much trouble. Aiden was especially helpful, always ready with advice on things to do and see, and went above and beyond for us. If we’re back in Munich, we’ll absolutely return.

The staff really stood out: thoughtful, friendly, and ready to help without intruding. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout, from the room to the shared spaces, which made us feel comfortable right away. It was my first time in Munich and I absolutely loved the stay. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the city, so it was easy to walk everywhere. We’d happily stay here again.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff promptly brought extra hangers, pillows, or a blanket whenever we asked. The shower had strong pressure and the water got nice and hot. We visit Munich often, but this was our first stay at Haus im Tal, and we’ll stay here on future visits. Great staff and excellent location. The only thing to mention is the bed setup: it sat on a raised platform directly on the floor instead of a normal frame, with walls on both sides. You couldn’t get in from the side, so you had to jump in from the foot and shimmy down to get out. Very odd and a little tough at 2am, but we managed.
