The staff were amazing, and the downstairs bar serves nice drinks. There's what you need here for yourself or as a couple. Just know the shower doesn't offer much privacy, so you need to be comfortable sharing with whoever you're rooming with. I could also have used more space along the sides of the bed. I kept bumping my shins when I got up.

The staff made this a really welcoming stay, even with our terrible German. Emily, Dominik, Kais, Letitia, and Arian were so accommodating. We spent plenty of time at the bar, where people were happy to chat about our plans and suggest things to do. When we arrived, we could choose either a room clean or a beer token. We picked the beer, so our room wasn't cleaned during the stay, though the housekeepers were around every day and were pleasant and polite. It was our first visit to Munich, for my friend's birthday, though we'd been to Germany before. The hotel is fairly central, about a two-minute walk to the tram and five minutes to the underground, so getting around was easy. We arrived Monday morning, and Dominik helped with check-in and recommended places to visit in and around Munich. The rooms are comfortable, with rainfall showers and adequate facilities. Each floor has a "galley" room with complimentary tea and coffee, an iron and ironing board, and a vending machine. The design has a cool retro industrial and music feel. As far as we could tell from our party, every room has a Marshall amp and Bluetooth speaker, and there are guitars by the bar that you can take to your room. Highly recommend, and we'd likely stay again.

We had an awesome stay. This is the coolest hotel I've stayed at in Munich, and I'll definitely come back every couple of months when I'm visiting. The location, room, breakfast, and bar were all much better than we expected. Special thanks to the staff members who helped with our needs and were so friendly and welcoming. Much appreciated.

The breakfast had a good range of quality food, with a broader-than-usual choice of savory spreads and cheeses for vegetarians. I tried them and found everything very tasty. There's something for every taste, including Munich Weisswurst if that's what you want in the morning. The rooms are modern and nicely set up, with Marshall Bluetooth speakers ready for your own music. It's an easy walk to Munich Stachus and the town center.
