Hilton Munich Park

I spent two days at the hotel for a conference, though I didn’t stay overnight. The friendly staff and top-notch service made a strong impression, and the food was delicious with a great variety. The kind woman running the small shop by the entrance was especially welcoming and added a personal touch to the experience.

The air conditioning was the main thing that fell short. We visited in early August, when daily temperatures were in the mid- to upper 80s F, and it didn’t cool the room much. Otherwise, it’s a lovely hotel beside the English Garden, with very good, friendly service. Our room had a little frig, which we appreciated. The gym was ample, with lots of weights and weight machines, three treadmills, and some stationary bikes. There was also a small indoor pool that looked nice, though we didn’t use it. The breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious, but very expensive at €32. We treated ourselves since we were on vacation. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

We loved our stay. The rooms were roomy and nice, and breakfast was very good. We upgraded to a key floor and got finger food in the evening. It’s a western style luxury hotel near the Central Park, within walking distance of many of the sites we wanted to see.

The location is pretty good, and the gym had a good variety of equipment. The rest was disappointing: the hotel feels dated, the staff weren’t friendly, and the bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast is expensive, the coffee bar doesn’t open until 8, and there’s no real coffee in the rooms. Other hotels nearby offer better prices, service, and comfort.
