The lobby has lots of places to sit and relax, and check-in and check-out were quick and fully digital. The three elevators came quickly and were easy to use, and you need a room key to go upstairs. The hotel is in a great location, four minutes’ walk from a grocery store, with a rich breakfast and nice staff. I gave it three stars because someone entered our room to clean while we were out, despite the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. They touched our things, which is a big red flag for me. The carpet in the room was very dirty, and the toilet paper was like the kind in the army, not what I’d expect in a hotel this nice.

I don’t recommend this hotel. They charged my brother twice for each night. He paid online, but when he arrived they said they had no record of the payment and made him pay again. They said they’d sort it out later, but the next day they were arrogant. Now they aren’t answering emails or the phone.

The bus stop nearby made getting around easy. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast had lots of tasty choices. Ivan was especially helpful and spoke with us in Slovenian.

I stayed for one night, from January 2 to January 3. I had already paid online, but when I showed the confirmation at reception, the receptionist said I needed to pay again because he couldn't see the first payment. He promised the money would be refunded the next day. When I came back, I only got an email address. There was no apology, just an arrogant attitude. I sent several emails and called reception, but nobody answered. I believe they have been scamming foreign visitors and tourists for a long time. I'm now fighting for justice, including for others who've been scammed at this hotel. DON'T GO TO THE HOTEL HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS NORTH MUNICH!

Getting around was easy with public transport, and we also rented city bikes to ride along cycle paths through some parks into town. The hotel isn't very close to the centre, but we found the location manageable. We enjoyed the welcoming hall, the clean hotel, and a generous, tasty breakfast. For Munich, I thought the price was good for the quality of the place. We had a very nice few days there.
