Gambino Hotel Werksviertel

I keep coming back to this hotel whenever I'm in Munich, and it hasn't let me down. The lobby is a great place to work: spacious and stylish, with comfortable seats, lots of natural light, and fast, reliable WiFi. It clocked around 10 MB per second, downloads were quick, video calls stayed clear, and there were no dropouts even at peak times. I've worked full days there without frustration, which is rare for a hotel. The rooms are clean, modern, and well maintained. I especially liked the Rituals shower gel and matching bathroom products. They smell lovely, lather well, and leave your skin feeling soft. It feels like a small spa treat, well above standard hotel toiletries. The staff are friendly, the location works well for the city center and transport, and the place feels welcoming right away. It's not the cheapest, but the quality, comfort, and work setup make it good value. Whether you're there for business, leisure, or both, I'd recommend it. It's become my regular, and I'm looking forward to my next trip.

Getting into the central area is easy, with regular trains from nearby taking around 10 minutes. I also walked a few times and found it straightforward. There are plenty of street food places and coffee shops around. The Gambino Hotel in Munich has a modern, clean, minimalist look, with exposed walls and comfortable furnishings. My bedroom was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable after days of exploring. There aren't many amenities, but the value for the price is excellent. Check-in was quick and hassle-free. A great choice for a couple of nights, and I'd happily return.

The welcoming staff and nearby eateries were a plus. It's about a 30-minute walk to marienplatz, and the hotel is easy to reach on foot from munchen ost, one of Munich's other large train stations. Rooms are small and most look onto the street, but they're clean and functional. If you agree to skip cleaning service, you get a free beer. Recommended for a short stay.
