Hotel Agnesen Hof

Being just a 10-minute drive from the Nürburgring made this a handy choice for motorsport fans. I had a great stay: the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food had plenty of delicious choices. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed to relax. I'd gladly recommend it.

We had dinner here and enjoyed the food, especially the interesting flavor combinations. Service was good, and the place has a distinctive old German house style, with servers wearing local historical outfits. There are enough parking spaces nearby, and you can pay by card or cash.

The garden is lovely, with two covered pavilions, lighting, and heating, and we enjoyed eating outside there. It is close to the main B258, though, so traffic from people heading to or leaving the Nurburgring is audible. The food was very good. We had the three-course set menu, and the veal was absolutely delicious. With two glasses of wine and two 0.5L Weizzen beers, the bill came to €115, so it certainly isn't cheap. Still, with the excellent table service, I felt it was worth it as a treat. The building is beautiful, and Agnesen Hof is a pleasant hotel and restaurant with a high level of quality and service, just a few kilometers from the Nurburgring in Barweiler, visible from the B258.

For trips to the Ring, this is the place I most look forward to staying or eating at. The hospitality and food are both outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable. I'd recommend making a reservation for the best experience.
