The breakfast was incredibly good, and the prices were very fair. We spent a long weekend here on our motorcycles, and the quiet, simple setting suited us perfectly. Rerik and Kühlungsborn are close by, yet you’re away from the tourist crowds. When the weather turns bad, there’s an upstairs pool table where you can sit with a cold beer. We’d be happy to return. Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful stay, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It doesn’t have the facilities of a modern business hotel or a sleek beach resort, which was fine by me. The price was excellent for what you get, and the service was exceptionally friendly. The Asian food was especially good, authentic, and solid, which I really didn’t expect. There was also a group of cyclists staying while I was there, a down-to-earth, friendly bunch, and we got talking quickly.

The owner was so welcoming, and we’d definitely come back. We spent three nights in the family room at Gasthof Blaues Haus, two adults, two children and our dog. It was fantastic: clean, spacious, and comfortable, with excellent value for money. Don’t expect luxury, though; for that, you’d need to pay two or three times more elsewhere. Breakfast was lovely, served at the table by the owner himself. He even asked the children right away whether they wanted hot or cold cocoa. The beach is less than a 10-minute drive away. We can wholeheartedly recommend the place. Thanks for a wonderful stay. The Cidirli Family

Cozy place, and I felt well looked after. The rooms are spacious, clean, and friendly, breakfast is good, and the price is very reasonable. It’s not a five-star hotel, but for this price it has what you need, including Wi-Fi and TV. I’d happily stay again! :)

We were four cyclists on the Baltic Sea Cycle Route and spent a night at the "Blue House." It’s tucked away in a quiet, idyllic spot, and well worth the small detour. The room was clean, the owner very friendly, and breakfast was plentiful, tasty, and reasonably priced. A really good affordable option compared with the overpriced places in Kühlungsborn. We highly recommend it for cyclists.
