The apartment was a great base for hiking, and parking was available. It was directly on the street but surprisingly quiet inside, with bright rooms and furnishings that suited a holiday rental. The owners handed over the keys themselves and were friendly, with useful tips about the area. There was room for five, and the place was large, clean, and well furnished when we arrived. We've had very different experiences with holiday rentals in Germany, so we hope future guests treat this one with care and help keep it enjoyable for other hikers. We'd gladly come back.

We stayed in apartment 2, which was a nice, roomy option for five people. One bedroom has a double bed and a single, while the other has two single beds and connects through to the first bedroom. Everyday supplies were already there, including hand soap, toilet paper, dish soap, and dishwasher tablets.

The apartment is in its own separate building, so kids can run around without bothering anyone. It's clean, bright, quiet, and cozy, and right beside the bus stop for the Arber ski resort. Great value, and we'd definitely stay again.

There's just one bedroom in each apartment, plus a connecting room, and the kitchen could use more dishes. The landlady was very nice. It's a shame that so many houses in Bayerisch Eisenstein are empty.

Everything was clean and well maintained, and the accommodation was great value. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend it.
