The apartment was roomy, very comfortably furnished, and had everything we needed. We especially liked the balcony with its lovely view of the Aber. We'd gladly return.

Communication with the landlord was the best part for me. Whenever I had a question, he was friendly, quick to reply, and very helpful. The place is furnished in a rustic style that suits the area, and while things are a bit older, everything was spotless and well equipped. The price was very attractive, too. COVID-19 rules were followed carefully, with hand sanitizer available and signs around the house explaining where things were and how to behave. We'd happily come back if we get the chance.

I can't cancel for free just one day ahead. The landlord should arrange a refund sensibly instead of putting the cost on the customer. Sorry, but that's unacceptable.

The listing says the apartments were renovated in November 2016 and got new kitchen units. That must be a typo, or it's simply untrue. Apart from the kitchen, the apartment was run-down, with some broken, worn furniture. Several bed frames had loose boards, and the top bunk didn't feel safe to use. The shower screen and shower head were broken, so showering flooded the bathroom. And the Wi-Fi? There wasn't any, despite what you'd expect these days. We'd already had a bad surprise while unloading: the entrance was completely icy and unsafe. After we called, access was cleared to a narrow path by the next morning, at least.
