We stayed over the Christmas holiday in 2018, on the weekend just before it, and were the only guests at the boarding house. The owners welcomed us like family. After we picked up a few things at REWE, which the owners' family manages, we found two chocolate Santas and a sweet note welcoming us to Morbach upstairs. It was convenient having the grocery store next door, and getting onto Bundesstraße 327 for day trips was easy. The building was well kept, and we couldn't hear road noise from our room. In snowy weather, the fourth-floor deck had a wonderful view. When my family makes it back to Germany, we'll put Boardinghouse Morbach on our list again.

The room was modern and exceptionally clean, with a kitchen in it, and there are good restaurants nearby. Rewe, a great supermarket, is across the street, and parking is available. The location is excellent, and check-in and check-out were easy. Definitely recommended!

Everything you need is close by, from shops across the street to restaurants and pharmacies within a five-minute walk. The rooms are modern and very nice, with a large refrigerator and minibar.

The room is amazing, with a lovely little kitchenette and even a beauty bar, something I haven't seen anywhere else. I got such a warm welcome over the phone, and there are two shops right across the street. Just wow ♥️😍🤭
