Wellnesshotel Jagdhof

The food was very good, and the staff were excellent. The family-run hotel also had several family members around each day. But the room was a real letdown. The brochure showed a bright, pleasant space, while ours felt dark and shabby, with dated furniture and a blank wall as the view when we opened the curtains by the sleeping area. We’d expected a balcony with a view. The marketing photos, taken from wide angles and at a distance, also made the setting look different: the industrial plant beside the hotel was left out, and the forest seemed much closer in the pictures than it actually was. The claims of spaciousness and privacy didn’t match what we found either. It felt compact, with the property built up through several extensions over the years. This trip was meant to be a celebration, so the gap between the brochure and the actual hotel and facilities was especially disappointing.

Staying at Jagdhof was completely stress-free. The service, quality, and availability were all amazing, and everything was done so well. I can’t say enough good things about the place. You won’t regret staying here.

I went for a day spa with my mom, and it was outstanding. The place was spotless, the service was great, and the food tasted fantastic. Definitely recommend it.

The prices are fairly high, but the way everything is run makes them feel justified. The rooms, food, and service were all flawless.
