Gschwendnerhof

The courtyard and surroundings were wonderful. We stayed in the holiday home for a fantastic short break, and it was one of the loveliest places we’ve stayed. Everything felt modern and was furnished with great taste. The host family were kind and very friendly. We’d happily come back!

Our chalet was modern, very clean, and had everything we could have wanted. I spent a week at the farm with my eight-year-old daughter, and we both felt completely at ease. The hosts were always friendly and happy to chat. I can highly recommend the farm. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year.

The ground-floor apartment was clean, and the location worked well for excursions. Still, we left with reservations. We were there in July and didn’t feel welcome as guests, just as a source of money 😉. It gave us the sense that our presence was a nuisance on the farm. On arrival, we were immediately told about sorting the rubbish properly. The children’s vehicles were another problem: more than half were broken or unsafe, so only some could be used. The sandbox had no cover and had cat droppings in it. We weren’t allowed into the cowshed either. We wish you all the best and hope you have more regular guests in future.

The children got to explore freely, with no one telling them no, and they felt very comfortable. There’s so much to experience here: watching or helping with milking, seeing the milk collected, feeding the animals, petting them, riding on the tractor, and more. We had a wonderful stay at Reitberger farm at the end of August and beginning of September 2021. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and easy to reach, and their local tips were especially valuable. It’s clearly a family business, with plenty of chances to chat. We felt very well looked after in the holiday home and would love to return. Best wishes from the S. family.
