Hotel & Restaurant 5 Linden

Listening to the creek ripple outside our window in the morning was such an idyllic part of the stay. My wife, our dog and I spent three nights at Fünf Linden over Easter, with breakfast and a four-course dinner included. The food was delicious, and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We also had a clean, lovely room overlooking the stream. The breakfast buffet offered a good range of fresh products. I'd love to come back.

The rooms were a good size, with comfortable beds, a strong shower, and all the essentials. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely, with the stream flowing below as it winds through the village. The village itself is peaceful, small, and full of character, while still being convenient for the motorway. Highly recommended!

The village didn't have a grocery store or anything similar, and without our car we found there wasn't much to do. We watched TV, walked around the village, and spent most of the rest of the time on our phones. We were there for two days after our car broke down nearby. The hotel itself was fantastic: the staff were lovely, it was very clean, and the food was great. We had nothing bad to say about the hotel, and I'd definitely recommend it. It's pet friendly too, and our doggo was very happy :) The location was the downside for us.

Rooms are modern, tidy, and have Wi-Fi, and there's parking available. I didn't get around to trying the sauna in the basement. It's a nice, cosy place in a small village, and several of my colleagues who visit the area regularly say it's the best choice around. The menu is small, but the food is great. I'd recommend the Angus filet steak for 26 €. Other dishes are priced around 15-20€. Breakfast isn't very fancy, though if you ask for scrambled eggs or sunny-side up, you might be pleasantly surprised.
