We'd been out for a short hike and dropped into the restaurant this afternoon to warm up and eat. The food was hot, really fresh, and delicious, with generous portions. The service was so friendly that we felt welcome right away and ended up staying longer. We hike around here often and will definitely come back for another meal. Highly recommend it.

Our first visit was a success. We arrived without booking and were lucky to get a table for eight. The food was absolutely worth it, and the staff were lovely too. If you want to eat here, booking ahead is probably best.

Cabin 11 was lovely, and everything was spotless. Birgit welcomed us so warmly and looked after us throughout, many thanks to her 😊. Breakfast was excellent too. I missed out on a cappuccino, but Birgit explained why, so I completely understood and didn't feel it deserved losing a star. There wasn't much snow during our stay, but we still had a fantastic time. We'll definitely return!

I dropped in without planning ahead and found a lovely atmosphere and really friendly service. The Cordon Bleu "American Style" was great and just the right size. Happy to recommend 49gradnord.
